Who We Are:
I’m a Mom of 2 active and precocious girls living at the foot of the Rockies. We dyed our first 2 skeins of wool yarn in crock pots one bitterly cold, snowy weekend in January, 2011, as a way to keep little minds and hands busy and to see chemistry in action. I was impressed with the depth and vividness of the colors we were able to obtain using such simple ingredients and utensils!!
And then we were hooked! We were soon dyeing far more yarn, much faster than I could ever knit it up on my own, and began exploring ways we could share the fun with others!!
My 2 princesses frequently help me with the dyeing process, and have dreamed up more than one of our color-ways…either the color combinations and patterns or the names, so we are very much a family operation!!
